  We had a leak from two sources in our furnace room, that occurred after a moderate to heavy rainfall. We hired GJ Macrae to excavate by the outside wall, repair the cracks and protect the wall with a membrane and mesh. Part of the trench had to be dug by hand, due to a gas line, and part could be done by machine. The GJ Macrae team were all very skilled and professional, and completed the job in three days. Now the trench has been refilled with the earth and gravel and it will take some time for the ground to settle. We have had a few heavy rains since the job was completed, and our basement is now completely dry! We highly recommend GJ Macrae!

  Job was done in 2 days which I was amazed it could be done that quickly! That's a lot of pails of concrete and rock that had to be shuttled in and out of the house!
The guys were all very friendly and let me know everything that was being done and answered all my questions!
The bowed wall looks solidly supported now with carbon fibre strapping and the water found beneath the floor is now being safely routed through newly installed
Plastic Weeper to our sump.
We now have peace of mind that we can finish the basement with no leaks or crumbling walls!
